Full board (fully catered) at the Andrew Stewart Hall, Donnelly Hall and Fraser Hall

These halls (US: university single dorm rooms) are conveniently located just over the loch from the Main Campus (about a 5 minute walk across the bridge) and very close to the Pathfoot Building (Ravelry Weekend). The Andrew Stewart Hall has been thoroughly renovated in the past few years, and contains very pleasant seating areas (1st photo below) as well as a huge social area complete with TV room and bar in the basement. There are a few rooms which contain private refrigerators for people requiring them for medical reasons (see 2nd photo), 3 rooms especially adapted for wheelchair users (see 3^rd & 4th photos). Although there are kitchens in both halls, the power supply is disabled during the summer vacation and therefore is not suitable for anyone wishing to use these facilities.

Meals are available to you in the main dining hall (Haldane’s) on the main campus. We highly recommend the excellent hearty full Scottish breakfast!

Four star double rooms at the Stirling Management Centre, University of Stirling

We are delighted to announce that we have secured all the bedrooms at the Stirling Management Centre for both our tutors and a small number of guests wishing to bring partners to Knit Camp. These rooms contain a double bed, television etc and are fully ensuite. Wi fi internet connection is available at a cost of £9.99 per 24 hour period, and you purchase this online after you’ve checked in. The rooms are available on a double occupancy, bed and breakfast basis only. The normal price for this room is £122 per night, but we have managed to negotiate a deal.

Self catering accommodation at John Forty's Court

This accommodation is situated almost in the centre of the city of Stirling and is most suitable for those of you with cars as you will need to drive yourself to the main campus for classes/other events. It is conveniently located near the centre of the city, with several supermarkets within easy driving distance. It is about a 10-15 minute drive away from the main campus. The kitchens are large with great seating areas. There is also a social room on site, which has a TV, vending machines, some rather dated furniture, snooker table, dart board. There is also an onsite launderette. There is a 24 hour porter on site. If you don’t feel like cooking, ask the Porter for take away menus (most of which deliver to the Court).

Bed and breakfast at the Alexander Court

The Alexander Court is located at the far side of the University campus and is situated next to the golf course. It is a pleasant 10 – 15 minute walk along the loch from the main campus facilities. Full kitchen facilities are available for you to use as you wish. We highly suggest you only book this accommodation if you have a car as it is a 15-20 minute drive to the nearest supermarket. There is a car park next to the Court.
